Black Silicon Carbide
is produced in an electric
resistance type furnace from a mixture of extreme
purity silica sand and coke at a temperature above
2000℃.
Possible Application
1.Manufacturing bonded abrasives & coated abrasives
2.Grinding less tensile metals and non-metals, such
as brass, aluminium, Stone, leather, hard rubber and
etc..
3.Abrasive blasting , lapping, polishing
4.Used
as deoxidizer in steel industry
5.Manufacturing polishing compounds for polishing
various metals
6.Used
in refractory and electronic industries
